Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

My overall rating of the ship is satifactory. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom kept flooding. Service was impeccable. The islands were the best part.

Pros: The ports of calls

Cons: The entertainment

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The main dining room food was very good. The food in the buffet was terrible and is was cold. You had to wait about one half hour in line to be served.
we were in bed by 10 - 11 pm every nite.
Cabin / Stateroom
The steward was fantastic. He knew everyone's first name. The room was always kept clean. the only downfall was the bathroom. the shower curtain was dirty and it kept overflowing.
Service and Staff
Grand Turk Island

Don't Miss: The swimming pool with the swim up bar
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
We have gone three years in a row to this island. It is still the best place to go.
Nassau, Bahamas
We tried the Blackbeard Cay island. It was fantastic.
