A good experience

The ship was good

Pros: 4 Ports and only 2 days at sea

Cons: Embarking and Disembarking out of San Juan. Took a long time long lines and too many people

Ship Quality
Good size ship, has all the things cruises have. Some major dining rooms were in the way when you wanted to get to the other side of the ship. No way around them you had to go up or down the floors to get around them. The decor seemed to be awful dark, room and in general very clean. Dining staff in the free style dining were a little slow in cleaning tables off and sometimes a table would be sticky.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent. Lots of variety and any kind that you wanted and at all times.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size of an outside cabin on the main level was above average. The shower was huge compared to others I have had. You didn't seem crowded in it. The window was very nice for viewing. If there was a way to keep the windows clean on the outside would be even better.
Service and Staff
Our cabin steward was the greatest. They were friendly and nice to visit with. They recognized us in the port when they were off. Our steward was on stage with the intros and we waved at him and he waved back because he recognized us. They were very talkative and we had excellent service.
The quality of the shows were very good. The actiivity people were very fun and entertained people very well to make it fun.
Children's Programs
Of what I saw it was very good. We had over 600 kids on the ship and we didn't see very many of them.
Bridgetown, Barbados
I wish that we had gone to the beach. We took a distillery tour and and mahoghany factory tour. Very interesting and the guide was very good in telling about her island. I learned alot and find that Barbados has its act together. High taxes though.
Don't Miss: Beach swin.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
I thought that it was very commercial. We did go to Megan Beach which was very nice for a crowded beach. We took an excursion to get to this beach and it included a tour of the island.
My favorite. The must see tour was the Carib Indian and River tubing tour. They fed you a lunch and entertained you. The other tubing excursion on the ship was sold out and this one is kind of a hidden tubing experience that was very good. The tubes were nice and had a pad in the bottom. They took good care of you going down the river with guides that would pull you out of a stuck place. Our taxi driver was friendly and gave us a tour of the island and took us to the emerald pool for a swim . I just like this island because it is friendly and the jungle is nice. It is not overly developed.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Went on a general tour of the island which was great to see all the natural wonders of the island and sites. Then we went to the beach. It was a good combination. We also went out on a submarine that substiuted for a snorkle. We saw the fish. It was good.
