Some Good - Some BAD

Sail Date: June 21, 2015

Room Type: Oceanview

I was not happy with the agents communication since I could never get directly in touch with her despite several calls with problems. The ships windows were so dirty we could barely see out of our cabin window and lots of the others hadn't been washed for whats seemed to bee weeks. Signing in for boarding was a nightmare that took over an hour in a line in 90 degree heat and then another wait to be called and allowed to board which I believe was only done to allow boarding pictures to be taken without missing too many opportunities. The drill was another hour fiasco in the heat since only stations were assigned and not lifeboats which meant they had no idea who may have been missing since there was no room roll call. Had assigned stations and lifeboats been given on the ships card they could have easily known who was missing from that boat.  The island were nice but mostly barren of the regular Caribbean GREENERY since they get a lot less rain the many others. My top 2 were Curacao and Aruba since they had a lot more color then the others but Turks had the bluest waters in multi colors and was probably the best for beach going. We took 2 tours of the Islands, one each on Turks and Aruba - Turks was ok , but the ARUBA ONE with Clifford as the guide was OUTSTANDING as he answered every question we had and it showed he enjoyed his job and was EXTREMELY proud of his island heritage. The staff in the Casino and main dining room was EXCELLENT as was the food, WHEN THEY HAD it OPEN. The buffet's closed @2:00 P.M.  but the Pirate Pizza was open 24/7. The fish and chips was closed MORE TIME then open ( like 12:00 to 2:00 . Guy's burgers were also really good.  We never even met our cabin steward until the last day saying goodbye....unlike other cruises where they stop in and introduce themselves and say hi etc. Getting off the ship was easy and timely so there was no problem there.

Food and Dining
Main Dining food and staff EXCELLENT - Buffets and many of the others eating areas were closed more then open.
Service and Staff
Entire Casino STAFF EXCELLLENT but OUTSTANDING were Sebastian and Bianca plus Bunny and Daisy hosts.
Entertainment
From what the other couples traveling with us said - NOT WORTH seeing.
Children's Programs Did not use
Onboard Activities
We didn't find anything offered ther then the Casino that interested us
Destinations and Excursions The islands were 4 we had never been too and we tours all 4 to some extent.
Ship Quality
The ships windows were durty and needed washing, some were so bad you could barely see out of them.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
We stood in line for over an hour in the heat to get on board in total CHAOS, then waited again in a numbered group until called to board which was just so they would be backed up taking boarding pictures and missing a chance. Disembarkation was smooth
Cabin / Stateroom
Window was so dirty on the outside we could barely see out, we never knew our steward since they never introduced themselves when we boarded and I only found out who it was the last day of the ship. There was no chair in the cabin and really no comfortable place to sit and watch the TV except on or in the bed.
