Review summary
I had never cruised with Carnival before, although my sister has taken 11 cruises with them and recommended it to me. The cruise departed on our 35th wedding anniversary, so we used this opportunity to celebrate with our daughters and families.
We all enjoyed the ship's accommodations and found this cruise to be a great value. The dining room staff, Ni Made, Lloyd and Andy provided excellent service during our meals and can serve as an example of professional standards of performance. The dining room meals were as good as, if not better, than we experienced on our Princess cruise, while the Lido restaurants were not as good. The burger, pizza and burrito counters were fine. The overall dining experience on Celebrity was a cut above Carnival, while the Conquest's staff was the best that we have had in four cruises.
Our rooms were just fine, with an Ocean Suite adjacent to two balcony cabins. Having the balcony partitions opened provided us with another great advantage for a family cruise. Out cabin steward, Efran, was also top line.
The three stops were enjoyed by our family members, although in Jamaica we took care of our grandson and let the "kids" enjoy outdoor activities of zip lining, etc. They also enjoyed Cozumel very much. Grand Cayman was a nice break for us.
We did not take advantage of the shows offered by the Conquest, although we did participate in the "Dr. Suess on the Loose" parade and show. That was a great offering for children and families.
All in all, I can recommend this cruise for anyone with a tight schedule who wants to experience a taste of the Caribbean.

Ship tip
I am impressed by the ship's logistical activities in being able to debark, prepare for 2,000 new passengers, and be ready to depart all in an 8 hour period. It is an amazing process.
