8 Night Southern Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: March 21, 2015
Ship: Carnival Conquest
Cabin Type: Balcony
Cabin Number: 8253
Traveled As: Singles/Friends

This was my 14th cruise with 5 of them on Carnival.  The food was mediocre, most of the chicken and beef dishes were very bland and the service in the dining room was very slow, ( we ate there every night) table 619, second seating, Renoir, there was not enough wait staff. The food sat on the serving  table while the servers cleaned the dirty dishes.  Previous cruises, there were folks removing te dishes while the servers served the food. The first and second night it took over 2 hours to finish and we were only a table for 2.

The entertainment was cheesy at best. Other  cruises had Broadway like shows, great musicians throughout the ship and enjoyable main lobby singers.  Not on this one. The cabin maintanence (Jesse) was wonderful. Super clean, on time and he was invisible.

The overall condition of the ship was shoddy. Peeling paint, really dirty windows (we had a balcony) and a bit aged all over.
