Relaxing, but not sure about repeating

Sail Date: December 01, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Impressionistic theme was bright & pink\, but not elegant. In fact\, it was pretty tacky in some areas.

Pros: Spa & fitness center were a great refuge

Cons: Ship too crowded & bartenders we're not friendly. They just wanted to move drinks.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Ship Quality
Public area were mostly clean and well-maintained. In early morning hours it was nice. But later in the day\, it got too crowded and the staff was often overwhelmed.
Food and Dining
Dinner & brunch were pretty good. The breakfast & lunch buffets were very basic and they did not change it up over the week so it got boring. They lines were too long and nowhere to sit.
Cabin / Stateroom
The balcony was awesome and our stewards were terrific
Service and Staff
Good except for bartenders who were more interested in moving drinks than providing customer service. Tips were included\, which gave them no incentive to improve service.
Shows were very amateur. Some comedians were funny\, while others were just awful. In any case\, the shows were too crowded and not enough seating.
