Cruise #6 with Carnival

Sail Date: July 06, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Overall the cruise went well.  The PROS: Gary, the cruise director and the comedy club!.   The GOOD: food and other entertainment.   The BAD:  piped in music on the lido deck belongs in a restaurant or an elevator - music for a lido deck needs to be lively and hopping!

Ship Quality
Seems to be in need of some minor repairs and many light bulbs burnt out. Does not look like Carnvial is doing as well as they did years ago.

Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Cabin / Stateroom
Very warm even with the AC set to coldest setting. Carnival said within standards, nothing could be done.
Miami, Florida
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Not too much to do unless you plan on the beach.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Grand Turk Island
Run down. If you do not do an excursion, there is nothing but a little shopping on the pier.
