Good cruise for the money

Sail Date: October 28, 2012

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

We liked the ship. This was a nice relaxing cruise that we needed after a hectic summer.

Pros: Beautiful ship and extremely clean

Cons: Entertainment at night not as good as normal

Recommends Carnival Conquest? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was very clean and the decor was lovely. We enjoyed just standing by the rail looking at the water.
Food and Dining
I like having a set time to eat with the same waiters and staff. Food was good and lots of choices.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was larger than on some of our cruises and we had lots of storage space.
Service and Staff
Our room stewardess Charvo (not sure about spelling of her name) was great. There was a young lady named Aida that came to our table on Lido every morning and talked with us. She was very exceptional and you are lucky to have her on your ship. The staff on Lido were not friendly but everyone else we met was very nice.
The night shows were not what we expected. There was only one song and dance show. Magicians and comedians almost every night was too much. The talent show with passengers was fantastic and the Newly Wed Show is always the highlight of our cruise.
