7 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 26, 2012
Ship: Carnival Conquest
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
Ship is aging and smaller than newer ships. Air conditioning at night was awful!!!! We had a very nice balcony which helped to not feel so closed up in a small space. We were told ship is going in for renovation and returning as the Sunburst or something like that.
Lots of closet space which we loved.
Purchased items in jewelry shop but the staff was rude and not helpful. Shop manager was pleasant.

Would not give out popcorn at 10 minutes until 10\, even when it was ready and no reason we had to wait. Another guest requested management.

Ship Quality

The ship is chopped up in too many sections. You have to go up and down several sections to get to the entire ship decks.

Cabin / Stateroom

a/c not available to control
under restaurant and lots of noise early and late

Pros: The stewards were very nice and the steak house.

Cons: The gift shop assistance was horrible and rude.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.
