It was a nice get away!!

Sail Date: May 13, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

The ship itself was fine...our suite was amazing with all the room...loved the VIP check in.....but once again need more pool attendants that aren't afraid to speak up to people when they have left things in the chairs and been gone for hours and no one else can sit by the pool.....we pay our money just like everyone else and unless you get to the pool at 7 am you will not get a chair.

Pros: The friendly staff and our suite

Cons: The food....had better on other Carnival ships

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Entertainment
Couple of the shows were not so good....the lead female singer needs her mic turned down...sounds like she is just screaming all the time and really hurts your ears
Food and Dining
The food was awful...this was our 5th cruise with Carnival and this is the first time the food has ever been bad....our head waiter and his assistants were awesome though!! We did visit the steakhouse and it was amazing!!
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Our suite was awesome!!!!! Loved all the space we had....the larger bathroom was great
Service and Staff
Our room steward was awesome!!! We had great bartenders in the atrium bar!!!
