It's a very nice ship. It is kept very clean. I'm not the wild party type but I was able to accomplish my goal which was to relax. There is a designated library on board which one would think is a great place to sit & read, however some cruisers thought it would be a good place to talk & play cards. Carnival apparently does nothing to maintain silence in the library.
First time cruisers beware, despite paying an assessed gratuity fee, you are charged a 15% gratuity on all drink purchases, whether alcoholic or not, & some merchandise purchases (if your purchase was solicited by a staff member).

It's a big ship, w/two pools but each pool is kind of small.

Pros: Having a room with a balcony.

Cons: Carnival tends to cater to the gambler/drinker more than anything else.
