Less then Desirable cruise

Sail Date: February 12, 2012

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

Typical Carnival ship layout easy to negotiate. Nice tasteful decor. Very clean public areas.

Pros: Cabin size

Cons: Poor quality of food served

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Food and Dining
Cold food in dinigroom after 3 days of trying gave up . I did not go again the entire cruise. Too bad cause on past cruises loved the dinigroom experiences. Steak prep raw, pork overcooked, and vegetables not ateable - hard and undercooked plus cold. Lido buffet mayo feast!!!!!!!!!
Ship Quality
Staff worked very hard at keeping public places spotless. Kudos
Service and Staff
Attribute to the company is the staff friendliness.
Entertainment
Same tired comedian shows, dancer revues, hairy chest contest....get some new entertainment ideas Carnival.....you can only play so much BINGO!
Cabin / Stateroom
Huge handicap bathroom...adored this about the cabin. NO heating system on ships owed by Carnival as told by guest services. So had to sleep in my clothes first night since they kept the air conditioners on for circulation and air quality in the stateroom. No contigency plans to deal with temp of 31 degrees in New Orleans on departure day or next day...Got love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
