Great trip!

Food was excellent, prepared to order. Dining room service was excellent. We really enjoyed the 'big screen' outside on the Lido Deck (??) ... we didn't think we'd like sitting outside to watch this GI-NORMOUS screen but we were pleasantly surprised. The ship is quite lovely and was costantly being cleaned and polished and vacuumed. Even the public restrooms were well maintained. I was a little disappointed in the shore excursions - - it is stressed over and over not to take excursions that you don't book thru the cruise line, however the price of most of the cruise line's excursions is RIDICULOUS! For some people it takes months, if not the whole year, to save up just to pay for the cruise. Then you find out what the excursions will cost ... there should be better prices on these trips considering how many people are booked on these excursions. AND .... watch out! Someone will try to take your picture at every corner, even when you tell them "No Thanks".

We actually took this cruise in November, 2010. This was our 15th cruise and we were with another couple, this being their 2nd cruise.

Pros: Wonderful service in dining room.

Cons: Being bombarded by the photo-staff at every turn; the cost of the shore excursions.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabins are comfortable & spacious, plenty of closet space (for 2).
Food and Dining
I just wish there was a 7:00pm dining time in the formal dining room. We enjoy the formal dining room for our evening meal but 6:00pm cuts the day too short and 8:15pm is a little late ... we were starving!!

Entertainment
The stage-shows (dancers, singers) are good, but not our personal favorites. We do enjoy the comedy acts. We have seen some amazing comedy acts on cruise ships, and the midnight-show (the "Rated R" shows) are not to be missed ... if this is your type of entertainment.
