This was my first cruise, my wife's second. Her first cruise was on the Carnival Paradise. She was impressed with Paradise and dissappointed with the Conquest. The overall experience was favorable, but the food in the dining room was poor to average. You can get better food in any average restaurant in Dallas. I was a little steamed that in order to get the food that one expects on a cruise ship, you had to pay $30 extra per person to eat in the supper club.

Pros: The shows were wonderful, the ship is absolutely beautiful.

Cons: Dining room food was mediocre. You have to pay extra to get good quality.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.
