Departing from Gulfport was OK, as it was easier to get out to sea than from New Orleans.Great ship. Had an outside cabin with window on deck 1, big room. Dining room waiters were OK, desserts were bad. Food overall was good. Long lines for breakfast on Lido deck due to custom egg orders. Sometimes had to "beg" for extra bacon. Towels for the pools are a bit of difficulty, had to put up sail and sign card for them each day. GREAT cruise director. Show were good. Variety of music in clubs and bars below par for Carnival. Rear pool was fun, had ice cream in one corner, pizza in one, bar in one and hot dogs/hamburgers in one. With two adults-only hot tubs. Would say it was a good cruise ship.
