A good cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was immaculate in all public areas & private cabins kept very clean.

Pros: Variety for all phases of cruise

Cons: disembarking for shore excursions

Recommends Carnival Conquest? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship is larger than anticipated. It was always kept very clean. Only draw back seemed to be the casino area was always very smoky and radiated to some of the adjoining areas
Food and Dining
The sit down restaurants served gourmet meals presented very elegant, even for breakfast and lunch meals. The buffet food had a wide variety but the quality of the food is mediocre.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony room and were very pleased with size and cleanliness. The service was very good and efficient when needed
Service and Staff
All staff was very helpful in all aspects
Entertainment was varied and good
