My poor Experience in the Conquest

In general, the ship was clean and I really thought the staff (for the most part) were polite and customer-service-oriented and my tips above the mandatory $70 per person and 15% on all alcohol purchases were indicative of that. However, my 16-year-old daughter was the unfortunate target of an over 21-year-old male during this trip which exposed a hole in Carnival's on-board security. You see, we found out about this person and yanked our prodigy from the clutches of this marine seargent, but in the midst of our retreat, she left her sail and sign card (room entry card) behind. This person, knowing where our room was decided to return the card and when he returned to the room drunk as a skunk he found no one there. Did he return the card to lost and found, no... he entered the room and decided to only leave the fountain card. When he returned a second time, he actually knocked, but didn't wait long enough for us to reach the door before he entered on his own again. Needless to say, we went to Carnival's staff to complain. When we did, we were told that the card was deactivated. That was unfortunately not the case. We found out, by talking with a rude individual at Carnival that they could only deactivate the ability to make purchases and not room entry. Yikes!!! We later had a conversation with the Hotel Director who, after researching the problem, told us that his staff was misinformed on how to deal with the situation and apologized. It seems that you have to deactivate all cards and reissue all cards for the deactivation to be complete. You are forewarned.

Recommends Carnival Conquest? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
The room was ok but can be a little bigger when there's 4 people staying in the same room (2 addults and 2 kids).
Service and Staff
Overall, the staff met my expectation except the purser's personnal which in my opinion has lacks proper customer service.
Ship Quality
Overall the ship quality was excellent.
Food and Dining
The dinning ambience, staff and food was excellent.
Entertainment
The entertaiment and activities were very pleasurable.
