Embarkation

We had a 10:00-10:30 check in time, ran into traffic on the bridge at Galveston. We were parked and at the terminal by 9:45 for check in and was ushered through the line to check in.We tried the veriFLY this time and ALL of our info was right there, BOOM! On to check in desk, they took our pictures and we are sitting in the terminal at 10:00am COMPLETELY checked in. Now we’ve noticed that Carnival allows anyone to check in even if they are scheduled later. At first we were like WOW! That’s not fair to those who follow the process and comply with the procedures in place. Then this cruise, I learned ALL those people who complain about the long lines at embarkation or the long wait... are those people who “Cut” in front of those people who are suppose to be there at that time. Two women who were pushing and rushing to the front to check in and had a 11:00 -11:30 check in there at 9:45am, sat next to me and began to complain when the boarding process began and they learned they wouldn’t be boarding until around 11:30 or noon. Arrive at the correct time you are scheduled for and have all necessary documentation and this step is smooth.

The staff as always went above and beyond to ensure the ship was safe and clean at all times. I never saw a crew member and was not greeted with a good morning, evening or hello “sir” even working long hours, they would stop speak with a big smile on their faces (even though) the staff had to wear mask the entire cruise. These people are awesome at their jobs and I’m very grateful to know that they have such high standards for guest/ customer services.

Second cruise on this ship really did enjoy it.
Cabin / Stateroom

Small interior cabin, good for a five day cruise. Only issue was the little fridge was not working, but room steward provided buckets of ice if we needed for drinks.
Disembarkation

Again those people complaining about this process, the ones who do not follow directions and clog up elevators, stairway as well as walkways. They call you by your muster stations, people with E4 are blocking the exits before they even get the priority guest off. If everyone followed directions, smooth. Don’t blame Carnival because other guest are pushing and crying to get off first.

I'm glad to hear the Breeze is still a great ship. We have kids and grandkids going with us in the fall who have never cruised,we can't wait!
