We loved this cruise. It was one of the best we have been on. The crew and staff on this ship were smiling all the time, greeted us each time they saw us. The ports were wonderful. Even with the episode in Grand Turk we had a marvelous time.

The music on this ship was the best we have heard in over 30 cruises! The stage shows were outstanding, DJ's were receptive to the audience, The comedy club had outstanding comedians. The piano bar was one of the best we have ever been to. Just ran out of time to do even more.

We love the cove balconies. The cabins are a little larger and being close to water is always thrilling! We love the privacy and convenience of being close to the shows, dining, and getting off and on the ship when in port.
We took a tour to a museum, around the city, and to a rum factory. The tour guide and driver, Eladio and Pablo, were great!!! We learned so much about the Dominican Republic.
We love San Juan. We have taken several tours and will probably again, but this time we walked through the downtown area and did some Shopping. We also Drank Coffee at Los Quatros Sombras, and neat little coffee shop we discovered several years ago. For lunch we ate at Verde Luz in the downtown district. The drinks were good, cheap prices, and the food was very very god. Only problem was very slow service. But when you are on Island Time that is all right!
We have gone to Jack's Shack in the past and had jerk chicken and drinks. But this time we were only in port for a very short period of time so we just went to the beach next to Margaritaville. Probably will not do that again. We paid for chairs and an umbrella and a bucket of beer. While we were swimming a police officer came over and tried to take our beer, We ran back to our chairs and as he was beginning to go through our backpacks and accusing us of stealing the beer. Needless to say we were appalled. Not sure if we even have to pay for the chairs. Carnival needs to make a statement regarding what happen on their beach!
