The Breeze has a ton of amenities, just a shame that they are so susceptible to wind and waves. For at least a third to half of the trip something on the boat was closed off. The Serentity deck closed for days, the ropes course only open twice, the water park just a few days more. Bar service was non-existent in the restaurants and deck areas. The entertainment staff was atrocious and the captain changed the itinerary at will.

Food is decent. The Cucina was definitley the highlight of the trip. Service was hit and miss. Some nights it was good\, some nights they seemed uninterested and I saw a bar waiter a total of twice in 12 days within the restrooms

Great if all you want to do is spend money. Number of sea days doubled from 3 to 6 on our journey and the only free activities that were planned were trivia. Even the movies on deck were reshown on back to back nights while live shows were being cancelled but every announcement was happy to tell you about the places you could entertain yourself by spending money. Total rip-off and an incompetent and inexperienced cruise director.
Service and Staff

Ship's personnel was completely uninterested in providing any assistance despite repeated changes in scheduling. Their standard issue was sorry we can't do anything for you and than to tell you to go to the special assistance area to get staff support. Course you go to that area and you get zero support. All staff would do is point you to a computer or dial and than hand over a phone for you to resolve the issue yourself. Best part is that they attempted to tell us that we shouldn't complain (after the third scheduling change) because Hurricane Sandy had hit the US and we should spend our time thinking of those individuals instead. Never seen such a blatant and disgusting attempt to use a natural disaster as a way to try to get understandably upset passengers to shut up. Have already filed formal complaint with Carnival over crew treatment.

Cabin / Stateroom

Noise is a major issue in many of the staterooms. I lost track of how many people complained about noise from adjoining areas. On the 12th floor it was noise not from the use of the spa or the gym but from the late night cleaning of them which kept me up for hours. Others complained of cleaning noises in the kitchens\, sounds of kitchen fans and fryers and a host of other issues. You could hear every toilet flush in adjoining rooms\, showers running\, low rumble of people talking. Carnival cut a lot of corners in terms of noise pollution and it shows.
