Review summary

This was a very disappointing cruise for my wife and I. Ship is very dated and shabby. 80% of the times we had coffee there were grounds in our cups. Our cabin toilet stopped flushing at least 3 times, which was unacceptable. Guest Services appeared to brush off the problems.

I was just on the Caribbean Princess. Everyone is entitled to their opinion - even thought the food seemed lacking - it’s not the age of the ship - it’s the chef - BUT they have all new coffee machines and Lavazza coffee. It was perfect every cup !

Sorry you were not able to enjoy yourselves. We loved the Caribbean Princess as so many others are able to do. Usually, if the toilet flushing is not working, it is because they are working on the line. Typically because someone flushed something other than toilet paper.

We stopped cruising with Princess 10 years ago. Their company parent, Carnival, is in dire financial straits. Just look at their stock price. That's why they raised the price of water 400%.

Well. It is an older ship. Agreed. We quite enjoy the newer ones and have had a fantastic time on all our cruises

My husband and I went on one Princess cruise several years ago and that was enough for us. Always pushing alcohol, loud and obnoxious passengers. Terrible coffee.
