We enjoyed it! It was very relaxing with a perfect combination of fun! We are not typically very good at relaxing, but it was easy on the Caribbean Princess.

Review summary

We enjoyed our first cruise. It was very relaxing and opened our eyes on A new way to visit far away destinations. It was also truly nice to be out of Touch with society and literally unplug. The ports of call were somewhat overwhelming. And we didn't feel like we were able to enjoy them thoroughly while keeping with our Relaxing Habit of waking up late.

We enjoyed the food immensely and we're happy to see a large variety of Healthy and fresh foods available. We didn't go hungary and didn't over eat Either as the quality food was excellent. We enjoyed the formal evenings and Aldrin was an excellent waiter who maintained a jovial environment.

We enjoyed the music and dancing. Bert Stratton was an excellent Entertainer and made everyone feel valued and happy. I enjoyed the pool games but did not like the choice of on Deck movies. I felt that they could have been more family friendly.

Remy was an excellent room attendant and always brought service with a smile. Aldrin was a great waiter and we were very glad to have him as a waiter.

The location of the casino was bothersome as the smoke smell permeated many of the areas remotely close to it including those on several floors above it.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size and comfort were nice. The semi obstructed view was not an issue. The attendence did a great job of keeping things clean. In general, it would have been nice to see recycling options on the ship.

Ship tip

Book a room far away from the casino if you don't like smoke. Book the earlier Dinner if you like to enjoy evening activities and wake up early to go offshore.
