Review summary

Beware!!! If you are going on a Princess British Isle cruise, be sure to double check your reservation. Went to pick up my boarding pass for June 18th departure and found out we were cancelled without notice from Princess. They had no problem cashing the $9000 check, but didn't hold our reservation!! Having to reroute our entire vacation now. We are VERY disappointed!! Please check to be sure you are not in the "same boat" as us.

Glad it all is working for you all. That is good news. We were not so fortunate. We are taking a land trip. We did get a private driver for 4 days in Scotland and it has been wonderful!! Highly recommend Scotorian tours Ray Michael is a gem!!! Has made our trip fantastic. We fly to Ireland tomorrow then Paris for 2 nights. I hope all works out for everyone. I'm thankful that we are still able to see all of the sites. Take care!!!!

I have just arrived from Australia for this cruise and as far as I know it's full steam ahead as my rep was at the airport to meet me. I have a horrible feeling this may be a scam. If it is I am so sorry.

Are you talking about the June 30th sailing on the Caribbean Princess?! We are going on this cruise as well but haven't printed the boarding passes yet and this has been booked for over a year.

OP.. I have a friend who is a TA, she is worried that you may have been scammed. Who did you make your check out to? The TA or did you send it directly to Princess! I so hope you've gotten this resolved and will be on your cruise!

we have never had a problem with Princess, I always book direct through them, have my own cruise specialist, who does everything other than print off the documents.

The cruise is not cancelled, just our reservation. We are working with a travel agent to rectify the situation. So far Princess has not been much help. Everything was fine online until we went to get out boarding passes. A lot of planning for a huge disappointment. Never had these problems with any other cruise line.

When did you sigh up for this cruise? This doesn't make any sense. You would have had to do everything online thru Princess website. You would have had a booking number and print your own boarding passes and your luggage tags

Not sure what you mean by went to pick up? My passes have always been either mailed to me or I could print them out online.
