Review summary

This cruise was very disappointing after cruising last year on Royal Caribbean. We chose this cruise because of the destinations, wanting to add new places. Last year we went only to Cozumel. The destinations were great. Beautiful. The cruise itself let much to be desired. Not a lot to do onboard. Felt like we were on a retirement home cruise.

My husband and I slot on twin beds instead of a King. I tried numerous times to change the bed type online with zero luck.

Ship tip

Go with Royal Caribbean. Much more to do onboard. If this had been our first cruise we probably would never cruise again.

Jallaway nailed it for me - on the other hand I haven't been on the Caribbean Princess for a while.

Older ship, older clientele, more refined music, better food. if that's not for you, do the RC thang!

I was just on the Caribbean Princess in Feb. & yes, 75% of passengers were older but there were also some younger. The shows were good & we had a great time with friends. Also, the 75% were also fun!
