Review summary
We always love to cruise with Princess as we generally know what to expect, although this is a lovely ship (in need of the up coming refurb) we did feel in comparison to others that it was cramped, the Atrium didn't have that special 'sparkle' we found in others like Crown, Sea and Island, this area too felt quite small compared to the others, but the cleanliness was still spot on, the food quality in most part was excellent especially the Crown Grill, we only generally treat ourselves just once but went twice this time, the Fillet Minon was just mouth watering, in the MDR we did think that the menu had seen some cut backs not as much choice, and I was disappointed to see that one of my fav meals that could be had as starter or main was no longer served in a cheese basket........I had so been looking forward to this too, we also noticed a few little cut backs in other areas, our cabin only 1 tube of moisturizer were there used to be other little pots of things and no box of tissues or toweling robe, we could request them from our cabin steward but they used to be just there, not as many staff walking around to take drink orders on deck and those that were there hardly ever went up to the higher decks, overall though we still thoroughly our cruise 99%

Great review - pretty much my experiences on the Crown Princess earlier this month - great ship - in need of refurbishing; great services, slightly tarnished around the edges by cut backs; missing the "little things."
