Review summary
Princess does many things well, excellent food, superb cabin service, great dining experience. It's the little things that are annoying. TV remotes that don't work, sliding doors in balcony rooms that don't lock, no seating in buffet areas during peak times, too many "saved" chairs in pool area, small pours in the bars, the "can't get there from here" feeling on decks 5 and 6, poor timing of entertainment and dining times and limited seating in main auditorium (unless you want to be seated 40 minutes prior) AND the best bar on the ship, Sky Walkers on deck 18, panoramic view of ocean, exquisite environment, DOESN’T OPEN TILL 10pm! No happy hour here. Go figure.

I have not sailed on this ship - in fact I have only been on one Princess cruise - the Royal Princess & I enjoyed the cruise.

We took the Caribbean Princess a few years back - same area but really different ports of call - and loved it. I've read that a lot of ships are closing their "Sky Walkers" lounges. Sorry to learn she is showing her age - it happens - but certainly effects passenger satisfaction. It is not as though they offer discounts when the carpet starts to fray, the varnish peels, or the doors start to jam. Although they probably should.
