Review summary

This is our third cruise with Princess and so I am being generous on the stars...Princess staff from cruise director to waitstaff were invisible and disengaged...probably afraid they'd have to discuss port changes/cancellations.  Communication and planning of onboard activities was awful.  No briefing by Cruise staff on any of the ports other then printed paper...even after a change while sailing. Ship is old and in need of a big time facelift.  Princess is pulling out of Houston and that was reflected in how the cruise treated their passengers.

Thank goodness they had three great performers onboard as well as outstanding group of singers/dancers and orchestra ...the lounge groups and activities were awful.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good size, like having the extra sitting area and balcony. The bathroom floor needed a major clean and smells from the toilet area was like the waste system needed repairs. Lighting for women was not good. Closet area not functional.

Ship tip

Chose another cruise line...

Wow. We had friends on that cruise. They received emails stating island change. We were on the cruise 2 weeks prior and it was amazing. Activities planned from the time you get up til the time you go to bed..
