Princess New England Cruise

Sail Date: August 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

I think that the itinerary could not be matched, however the ship itself could use a renovation and the bathrooms and bedding in the room were almost ridiculous. The staff is driven like slaves too which is really sad I will explain later.

Pros: Great itinerary

Cons: Room and bathroom

Recommends Caribbean Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was alright in size, but the bathroom was so tiny. The shower barely had room to turn around. Also the bedding was so old the mattress was bumpy and broken down. The pillow was like a 2 dollar pillow at ikea after its use.
Service and Staff
The staff were all really nice people, just totally worn out. The cruise has them on 7 day a week schedules one after another with a 2 hour break daily and 13 plus hour shifts. They hardly ever if at all get days off, depending on where in the ship they work. Its straight up modern day slave work. It is so sad, the staff was exhausted. This company needs to realize investing a little more in its people will boost moral and better customer and employee satisfaction therefore increasing its over all bottom line.
Food and Dining
Entertainment
They had great shows.
