Mother has terminal decease, Daughters took mother on cruise, she has PHH, which requires her to walk only short distance's. To start the cruise we ordered a Wheelchair to assist her in the long lines to checkin at the terminal. After arriving at terminal, we sat her on a bench and went looking for a wheelchair. After 45 minutes of asking everyone, including the Police, security staff and Princess staff, no one could help us. We were sent in many directions. Mother decided to try to walk slowly to the check in counter. We had another person with us in the group of 9, who also had foot surgery and needed a wheelchair. We were unable to obtain any assistance for them. The Port of Everglades is not Handicap accessible. Once we enter the ship, My mother was out of air, and the Ship staff was able to get her oxygen and a wheelchair. They were very accommodating to us for the rest of the cruise and checked on her throughout the cruise. She ended up having a great time. I would not recommend the Port of Everglades for anyone who is handicap. Other than the start, everything went great. Thanks Princess for correcting a terrible start to the cruise.

Pros: Cruise Lines after some scary moments, helped get my mom a wheelchair

Cons: Port Everglades - NOT Handicap accessible - ordered 2 wheelchairs none available
