Very Nice Time

Room Type: Balcony
Things we really liked include: easy port entrance and parking, quick and embarkation and disembarkation process, quick luggage delivery, the ship never felt over crowded, the casino seemed roomy, plenty of bars spread through the ship, the adult only pool area, Skywalkers Nightclub, pizza and hamburgers available all the time.
There werent as many rude people saving deck chairs as weve experienced on other cruises, which was a refreshing change. It might have been due to a slightly older, more respectful crowd. Fellow passengers were very pleasant.
We thought Movies Under the Stars was a neat idea and theyve done a great job with it, but for me, I can watch movies at home. That being said, the area was usually very busy, so that says that a lot of people enjoyed it.
We went to the Sterling Steakhouse restaurant twice. It was good. Most of the time we ate at the buffet areas on Lido deck or had a burger or piece of pizza. In any event, we prefer the food on Royal Caribbean. That was the one area that stood out for us that could really be improved, at least in the buffet areas where it lacked variety througout the week.
We were on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary. We love St Thomas and St Maarten and have visited each a number of times. Princess Cays was surprisingly nice with a nice picnic lunch and tons of fruit, we were very impressed with the entire day there.
For reference, here are the ships we've been on: Caribbean Princess, Voyager of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas, Costa Atlantica, Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Ecstasy
Pros: Never seemed over crowded, parking was easy, quick embarkation and debarkation, the crew, fellow passengers, pizza and hamburgers available all the time, casino size
Cons: The food in the buffet areas could have been better
