Concerned about the Cruise industry

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

We were on this ship a year earlier and had a tremendos experience. We went the same time this year and were extremely disappointed. It was obvious that the economic climate has affected the cruise industry. The expected cruise line service was missing- dining staff rushed trying to handle to many passengers. Same situation for the cabin steward(actually missed our room one day). The menu choices were cut. This was not good value for the money we spent.

Pros: Warm sunshine in January.

Cons: Lack of service

Recommends Caribbean Princess? No.

Food and Dining
The food itself was prepared well- the delivery was lacking.
Service and Staff
The ship has lost it's way.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
The mini suite on the Princess line represents the best value for money spent. Our room was ok but had maintianence issues not found on previous cruises.
