Grand Suite is Best

Sail Date: December 01, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Brilliance of the Seas is going into dry dock in April 2013. It needs a major overhaul. While cruising new turf was installed\, paint was rusting\, wi-fi limited to specific locations. The service both in dining room and cabin was excellent. Some staffers disclosed too much personal information about conflicts among staff.

Pros: Verandah on Grand Suite/Concierge Service

Cons: Caribbean Ports increasingly lousy

Recommends Brilliance of the Seas? No.

Ship Quality
Upgrading in need.
Food and Dining
Don't take Royal Caribbean for the food. It was fine. Too much food was consumed by most. As my 30th cruise\, never seen this level of obesity throughout the ships' guests.
Cabin / Stateroom
The Grand Suite was comfortable....double sinks and firm mattress. Large verandah very nice.
