The ship was beautiful as expected. Food was good but could have been better in spots. Some of the menus need work. The only really bad experience was embarkation and disembarkation. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get from the airport onto the ship. Porters that did not want to unload the bus and made the passengers sit 20 minutes before unloading. Went to the priority processing area for diamond and platinum members and had to wait over an hour in there. Short handed and slow service.Leaving you go to the baggage area to pick up your bag. The only problem is that the baggage is not in the area yet. Had to wait over 45 minutes for the baggage to get there. So much for the bad points. We were in first (main) seating and had table 478. Our waitress, Susan, and her assistant, Dennis, were really great. Even the head waiter, Francesco, had a positive impact on our group. The shows were good although they have had better. Ate twice in Portofino, one of the alternative dining rooms, and the meals were great and well worth the extra $10 per person. This was my 13th cruise, and 8th with RCI. Expectations were high and mostly met. Would recommend the ship to anyone.
