A must for anyone wanted to go to Greece and the islands. Everything was good and it was first time on P&O so it was a great first impression of the fleet!

Had the best first cruise... by ameliaread97

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

Had the best first cruise with P&O on board Azura and she definitely is the 'happy ship'. All the staff and crew were so friendly and helpful and we met so many wonderful people. The ports of call were beautiful and Santorini has been ticked off my bucket list. There wasn't much to do in the way of activities by day but at night the shows and the entertainment were amazing. The weather was great apart from the last couple of days but hey ho I know we can't control the weather. I would definitely cruise with P&O again in the future.

A nice experience by sungirl10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azura / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The Greek islands well worth a visit. Lots of sea days but we didn’t mind that. Azura our ship was a very busy ship with lots going on so if you are after some peace and quiet forget it. Missed having a retractable roof in the pool area. Seascreen was a waste of time. Bad sound quality.

Pros: We had a large... by s24nto

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

Pros: We had a large party with us who stayed in various different room types. All I must say were well proportioned and had good storage space. Cabin stewards were excellent. We had a 2 yr old in the group which attended the Reef Club and they were brilliant with her. Cons: I don't personally like the formal night restrictions, if you have paid to eat in the main dining rooms why should I be forced to the buffet for two nights for not wearing a dinner jacket. Service was slow, 30 mins to get a bottled beer. Generally restaurant staff were dismissive of complaints and unhelpful. Buffet small. Entertainment was repeated and during the day non existent. If the deal was good probably would go back on P&O, however definitely prefer the customer service on RCI.

just returned from short cruise... by patmarlow

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

just returned from short cruise to Amsterdam and Le havre. having cruised before with other companies and read various comments regarding the Azura we went with open mind. there are areas where I think Azura got it right the main one being the shore excursions we were asked to make our own way ashore to meet our courier . what a pleasant change from the throngs of queuing people jostling in the stairways waiting to disembark much better we were told a specific time and left with practically no queuing. number one priority for me are the beds with most companies I have used I have needed extra pillows etc apart from cunard none have been as good as Azura. cabin was well thought out I liked the walk in wardrobe and general roominess of the cabin. Food was nice but did not wow me apart from the epicuran which was amazing. I had two grandchildren with me who found plenty to do and enjoyed most of the entertainment . All in all an enjoyable cruise would book again with P and O good value for money.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Azura / Destination: Europe

We would never go on a mini cruise.such a lot of money and advertised as children's school holiday cruise..but not suitable for children. In fact it has put us off cruising for a while..only our second cruise..would not recommend it to anyone..with children .

Having travelled on NUMEROUS other... by smithchops

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

Having travelled on NUMEROUS other cruise lines and ships, I was dis-appointed with this ship / P&O. 2 main issues and a 3rd smaller one. 1 - The Buffet restaurants on deck 15 (Verona and Venezia) are just carnage, you can access from both sides, cross over (the other side is the same food, in mirror fashion) and people are walking all over the place, against a one way flow and it's just madness, not a pleasant experience what-so-ever, stay clear - &O you need to sort this out 2 - The staff are polite yes, but warm & friendly, NO !, not a patch on any other cruise I have been on, I complained twice and no follow up, really poor. 3 - I bought the Ice-Cream & Coffee package, only to be told afterwards of all the exclusions / exceptions !, really !, not acceptable. The ship is lovely, clean, modern & spacious with lots of places to go, if you don't mind abrupt staff and chaos in the freestyle dining, you'll have a great time.

A relaxing, good cruise – saw the fjords, ate good food and calm seas! by thepughs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azura / Destination: Scandinavia

Good value and fun - it is Norway so don't go for the sun - go for the views ..... Azura is a great ship - with a great crew and consistent good food and drink. Itinerary was good and Olden is now a brilliant stop.

We had our first cruise... by ruthie1

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

We had our first cruise 12th August to Norway. Absolutely amazing experience and totally hooked on cruising now and deciding on our next one. Our son, 13, has special needs and a wheelchair user. The crew couldn't do enough to help make sure he had everything he needed. Made me feel like I had a holiday, which on return realised I hadn't felt that about previous holidays. Wished we had started cruising sooner! Thank you.

I loved every minute of the cruise, I can't see what's not to like about it. everyone should give it a go. I don't normally do reviews but I wanted to help people who are wheelchair users like me, if I can do it you can.

Middling by gillyhan

Trips middling and too long to wait for plane after disembarking . Not many activities on boat. Good good I'm freedom dining. Not a big variety of choice on buffet dining
