Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food was consistently good throughout the restaurants. The Epicurean at Seventeen was outstanding and worth the small £32 cover charge. The Glass House was also great and it was very cheap. We did not try the Beach House. The service in all restaurants was fantastic.

Onboard Activities

The pools did get slightly crowded on sea days however it wasn’t too bothersome. The oasis pool and the retreat are very peaceful. We took part in shuffleboard and deck quoits which were very entertaining.

Entertainment

The shows in the Playhouse were good however on some evenings they were slightly lacking. The singers and other performers were all great.

Service and Staff

The staff throughout the ship were incredible. Our cabin steward was very helpful and friendly and the waiters were outstanding.

Ship Quality

The ship has an element of luxury however Azura is showing her age however it really doesn’t matter on a ship like Azura. The ship is clean and elegant. The Retreat was marvellous and it created a small ship experience within a large liner.

Cabin / Stateroom

Superior Deluxe Balcony. Spacious and comfortable. This cabin grade is the equivalent of a mini suite, it is great however the bathroom lets it down as it is just a standard cruise ship bathroom.
