Awesome Asian Cruise by CP50

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Awesome cruise with so much history. The food was good, as was the service. Our cabin was beautiful and our attendants took very good care of us. Crew and staff appeared to be very passenger centered and went the extra mile to make sure everything was fine. Also, I really enjoyed the overnights in several port.

Interesting trip by Lemoore27

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

A lot of Visa problems never before experienced. China holidays the main problem. Azamara compensation for problem was fine. Cheap cruises support great, Andrea Whitby. Azamara ship staff remained steadfast thru a difficult period. Service and amenities onboard were outstanding. Even with the China visa problems, we enjoyed the cruise very much.

A Voyage of Wonderment & Beauty by frenchda23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Alaska

As usual, sailing with Azamara was a pleasure. This my tenth voyage was a time to meet old acquaintances among the crew and to become acquainted with interesting fellow passengers. I would recommend that Azamara institute a policy of no hats or caps in the dining areas. After all, we are on a luxury ship and not at a tailgate gettogether. There is not much to add. There were no unpleasant surprises. They exceeded our expectations based on the nine previous trips concerning the comfort of the suite.

Wonderful Alaskan Cruise by sacaine18

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Alaska

Azamara is an outstanding value in the premium space. I would rate Regent and Crystal generally higher but Azamara is comparable but has a price point that is usually significantly lower.

Fabulous Alaskan Adventure by powellduncan72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Alaska

Personal, respectful & engaging the captain down to the laundry staff wanted what was best for the guest. The older crowd kept the random explosions of noice and jostling out of the mix. Time for you & your +1 to enjoy each other with your peers and couples of the same age.

Great cruise by lisarossello

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

The service great, food good, boat tours where not what they offer. Milford Sound tour was suppose to take us on the gondola to see Queenstown and the Kiwi and they did not do that.

10 Night Thailand & Vietnam: One of the best cruise we been on. Small cozy atmosphere & got to know the crew. by marianowyang

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

First cruise on Azamara & loved it. Best private tour for two days in Bangkok. Travelled to 4 temples, amulet, flower, organic markets, Gold Mountain, Jim Thompson House tour & shop, dim sum lunch in Chinatown, Chinese pagoda, walk through Chinatown, tuk tuk & long boat ride, & even to the Skybar for a drink & view at sunset. All tours on cruise were fun & educating. Food was great, service was superior, even got to do free laundry on board. We had a wonderful time & would book another tour on Azamara.

Ship can do better by NikkiMpls

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

We would do this line again, but look to the newer ship and potential upgrade to a suite. We really liked the staff and the destinations. Enjoyed staying overnight in a port so you could do two things, or just chill on the second day. But the rooms were small, the showers smaller and the bathroom did not feel clean to me. I think it can do with an overhaul. In addition, the food was mediocre at best. We enjoyed the Italian dinner at Aquafina, but for the others, they were worse than any other cruise line we had been, including Carnival.

The cruise was wonderful. It was so because the captain was everywhere overseeing to make sure the staff and facilities were in top shape.

Cuba cruise by efeiweles38

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Cuba

I would cruise on the Azumera again in a heart beat. The ship is small, and an older crowd, but they are super friendly, and want to make sure you are happy.

Great cruise by amhaskell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

I highly recommend the Azamara Quest even though Captain Carl is moving to the Pursuit. The crew is very personable except for the Shore Excursions group. We really missed Carina.

We are looking into Azamara for a 2019 vacation. Hopefully the few issues with food service will be addressed by then.

Restful and beautiful experience--improved my health. by dnrsewell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Caribbean

This cruise improved my health, and I'm going to try to sleep as well and drink as much water as I did on the ship. When someone's filling your glass, it's a lot easier to be adequately hydrated. I was very happy with the food (my main reason for choosing Azamara), the lack of crowding and abundant public space that goes with not having a zillion passengers, the pleasant spaces and windows, and the outstanding people of Azamara.

Beautiful Cuba by keithdipple

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Cuba

Very enjoyable cruise would have liked longer. Cuba was amazing would visit again and the Azamara was a nice size ship for us. We would recommend this cruise to others based upon our experience but would say that it is not really a cruise for younger children as the majority of patrons were older adults, .

Exquisit service and quality of Food by sburney28971313

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Transatlantic

A great way to relax, and be pampered by excellent staff, food and drink. Enjoyed not being "up-sold" every few minutes as this is an All-inclusive. All the passengers we talked with were exceedingly friendly, engaging, and a great mix of folks from around the world.

Ahhhmazing staff, itineraries and service! by pumpkinbuns

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

From start to finish the friendliest staff on the seas. Details to cleanliness, food presentation, cabin and open areas is what makes it so special. You never want for anything and feel the luxury thru the service. Love Azamara and highly recommend it to friends. This is not a mega ship experience so while there is tons to do, eat and be entertained with you can still find some peace and quiet too.

Six countries in 11 days by LJAlmstead

All in all a great trip enjoyed by 3 couples. Got to reconnect and would recommend it to others. Requiring 150 characters for this comment seems to be unnecessary.

Nice Cruise by insightyum

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Europe

Everything was well organized! The staff was very supportive and attentive and helpful and friendly. Food was decent!

But, I think there are several aspects to be improved.

1. when we checked in, the cruise staff sat with chairs but all guests had to stand outside. Some guests were very senior and not convenient to write when standing or bending down. Why did you put chairs for guests? The guest relationship desk was the same. Chairs for staff but no chairs for guests.

2. Sicily tours were very boring. If we could take the cable to view the volcano, it would be interesting. But, the tour did not include the cable and we were not given sufficient time to take the cable by ourselves. It was pity.

3. Santorini is good stop but why no cable ticket? it should be included.

Nothing is perfect. The cruise was good as we expected. Happy

They got it right! by gkelley949

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Quest / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was our first cruise on an 'upscale' line, so cannot really compare to other 'upscale' cruises. We liked the smaller vessel with less than 700 passengers that could get in to the 'lesser visited' ports. The Windows Cafe was more relaxing (than similar type venues) than on the larger ships, with tables relatively far apart and easier access(less crowded) to the buffet. The staff throughout was very friendly and welcoming. Although only two separate locations (front and rear) the elevators were always prompt and hassle-free. Cabin service was good and unobtrusive. On some days the 'house' white wine wasn't very good, but not undrinkable. Shore excursions always went smoothly, with 18-22 people per tour, a real plus.  They really took care of their "Le Club Voyage" (loyalty club) passengers. We had sailed on Celebrity last year so were already Le Club members.
