Lived up to low expectations

Sail Date: November 01, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was clean and comfortable for this trip. New captain trying desperately to make necessary improvements in personnel. Azamara trying to be an Oceania wannabe but is falling way short.

Pros: Food quality good, pianist excellent, cabin clean

Cons: Poorly trained staff, no authority in Guest Relations to make a decision, Butler service was a joke.Spa, drinks, and shore excursions very over priced

Recommends Azamara Journey (RETIRED)? No.
