Lovely Ship

Sail Date: September 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This is a lovely small ship. She is beautifully decorated and has a v ery nice "feel". It was easy to make friends. The staterooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished.

Pros: The size of the ship and the elegant decor. The food.

Cons: Referring to a cabin steward as a "Butler"

Recommends Azamara Journey (RETIRED) 571? Yes!

Ship Quality
Nice size. Well laid out except for the location of the hydrotherapy pool. The decor was lovely and well maintained.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent in all dining venues especially in the specialty restaurants. Dining in the main restaurant is avaliable on an open schedule with a nice choice of tables from two to a large group.
Cabin / Stateroom
A balcony cabin was a comfortable size. The furnishings and bedding were delightful. We were located on deck eight, fairly far forward, and found it very convenient. The balcony was large enough to accomodate a nice table and chairs for eating outside or just looking at the scenery.
Service and Staff
We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment is on a smaller scale but we found it very enjoyable. There were some excellent lectures and demonstrations.
