Definitely in the top 3 of the best cruises we ever had!!!
Anthem of the Seas Cruise Review
Review summaryAll in all it was a fantastic cruise! I was a bit worried if the ship would feel empty and weird so few guests, but - guess what - it was just the opposite. No lines, lots of space, less stressed staff,… absolutely amazing!!
Food and Dining
First time ever we went to the buffet on a cruise. We were just curious to see what they offer for lunch and ended up with a great lunch and an interesting conversation with the head waiter. We always thought that it is not possible to get safe gluten free food on the buffet but it was absolutely possible and absolutely delicious. The head waiter offered everything from pizza to burgers to pasta - all suitable for celiacs and all prepared separately in a designated kitchen space. We ended up with a very good pizza and a whole bunch of desserts…
This was our least favorite experience onboard. The waiter was not very nice and rushed us through the menu and the dinner. Food was subpar and in our opinion the food in the other venues is so good and so well presented that you don’t need the uncharged restaurants.
Wonderful experience with a warm and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond for us. Since there were just a few guests in the Suite Class the atmosphere in the restaurant was calm and relaxed and we had the chance to talk to the waiters, head waiters and kitchen staff with no hurry. Very nice to get to know the people and their stories.
Bumper cars were awesome. Sadly you can only book them once via the app, but with only about 840 guests onboard the staff accepted walk-ins.
We attended the „Learn how to play“ and it was so much fun.
Truly a one of a kind venue and “Spectra’s Cabaret” was amazing. A really different kind of show and unlike everything else we have experienced on a cruise ship so far.
The Royal Theater
„We will rock you“ is not to miss! We had seen the show on Broadway and it was not at all different. The whole cast was really good
So beautiful and very well designed. We loved being in the Solarium.
Very good performances and nice trivia. We enjoyed grabbing a drink, listen so some awesome live music and do a bit of people watching.
Very quiet and relaxing with really good drinks. Our concierge was very helpful and friendly. In my opinion the combination of the Concierge Lounge with Coastal Kitchen (like on the Allure) is nicer than two separated venues. The Lounge is a bit hidden on deck 12.
