May be my last cruise. The food and wait staff need to be better educated at 'what it means to be helpful'. Food was less than enjoyable except dessert in the 'my time dining' area separate from the main dining area which makes me think we get less quality food? The North Star was broken and when it did open - last day they only took a few pre-reserved people. Not clear how to 'reserve' for anything as web-site is difficult to navigate. Two70 food for lunch especially the roast beef freshly cut with gravy and horseradish. Windjammer is the best place to get a variety of fresh, hot and flavorful food. Loved their international themed nights. Bar staff do a great job making a variety of drinks especially at the main pool bar - those guys keep the line moving.

Long lines which hampered any priority boarding opportunity
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We had 'my time dining' food was overly salty and fish was flavorless, dry or fishy. Not as much to choose from in this dining area. Dessert of crème brulee was excellent, Solarium was really hard to find and food was nothing special. The buffet was the best for variety, flavor, temperature, visually appealing and plentiful. Really enjoyed the various themed nights for food. No idea if main dining which seemed 'exclusive' was any better?
Onboard Activities

Band at pool and in Music Hall were GREAT! Joyce Kuo was Outstanding!! Disco Night was a lil hokie - the dancers looked tired and not in the mood - maybe not their era?
Entertainment

Service and Staff

When we asked for assistance we were directed to the wrong place and many staff seemed like we were bothering or interrupting them or didn't understand English?
Ship Quality

Pool area well maintained especially clearing excess water. Hard to find the solarium, north star was not working, long lines for free flow rider. Ship map near elevator was VERY helpful!!
Cabin / Stateroom

We were mid-ship so our balcony was bigger - very nice. Steward was able to bring us an extra chair since we had 3 in our room. Couch was not very comfortable - no pen in room or on desk. No lotions or soaps in room. Room seemed like the curtains were older and pillows worn down.
Ship tip
Expect long lines for 'my time dining', very big ship, circular swirl pool was enjoyable. Don't miss the shows!
Lots of transpo people there to direct and guide you. Excursions available right across the street so not far to walk. $7 to go to Horseshoe bay in van one-way
I have not sailed on this ship, but have sailed on multiple cruises with RC and have always enjoyed them. The food for My Time Dining and the Main or Late Seating in the Dining Rooms should be the same food and menu, so I am confused by the comment where it appears the OP thinks they somehow got different food. As far as long waits at My Time Dining, we always make reservations for a specific time and never wait more than 2 to 3 minutes to be seated. They generally have 2 lines - one for those with reservations and one for walk-ups. The newer ships seem to get complaints about being crowded, but that is to be expected when you have 4,000 to 5000+ people on the ship. Also A lot of the new “toys” on the newer ships seem to be down quite often or have extremely long waits. I’ll look for many of these to be quietly removed from the ships in future dry dock refurbishments.
