Great ship to meet people and make friends. Had open seating at dinner and made friends with 6 others the first night so we always had a table for 8. Our waiters Anam and Alli were wonderful. Also the bartenders in the Ocean Bar, Roland and Caesar were superb.
Pay attention to when the bow is open. They open it for guest for a reason!
The friendleness of all the staff, caring and for us the size of the ship not so many people. The Captain and crew keeps you informed
Do not expect all the extras you have become used to receiving on previous voyages! Beware of the disembarking from ship! Chaos! Make a late plane reservation!
It is an older ship, so be prepared and roll with the punches.
Procure a power cord.
love that the exploration cafe is still on deck 5 and that the Crows' Nest is still all an observation area
Mid ship convenient to any venue
Don't! Used to be our favorite ship...no one appears to be in charge.
go for it!
Enjoy your cruise.
Get up early for breakfast as the lido restaurant soon gets crowded and it's hard to find a table.
No BB KING LOUNGE! The auditorium they use for the cooking demos is much smaller than the one on Westerdam which does have the lounge at night in the cooking class room.
Enjoy the relaxation.
Enjoy the excellent crews customer service
It is an older ship, so don't expect hi tech amenities.
Just ask if there is something you need
Don't expect high level of entertainment after main shows. Bar entertainment was more for 40's to 50,a time periods.
not for kids
