For those who like a drink before dinner, happy hour is nice. Buy 1, get 1 for $1.00. Nice to have a Catholic priest on board.

Read the daily itinerary and pick & choose ahead of time. Also don't fret about not seeing the glaciers on board, the captain will turn the ship so everyone will get a view. Bring a powerful binoculars to see wildlife & a digital camcorder to capture the unexpected moments. Enjoy.

Nice to have a Catholic priest on board. The captain is the best from all cruise ships we have been. Him and his wife are very friendly and make one feel as part of a family.

If you are a tech-heavy person, bring a power strip! There's only one outlet in each cabin, so you will definitely use those a lot!

Take advantage of the Happy Hour specials. Keep track of the individual ship programs as many were useful and entertaining. A powerstrip with several outlets and USB ports was a great benefit to me. Power outlets are a premium in the rooms.

Take all the pictures with the ship's photographer. If you buy the package, you get more for your money. This is not the large water park/movie theatre over the pool boat. It is more relaxed, but all the kids on board seemed to be having a good time.

Do not pay any extra money for Ocean View, Balcony or even a Suite. Just book an Inside Cabin for a big saving. No last day sales at the Signature Shop. The sale price is the same from day one. Book your excursion trips online to save time.

If you want a set dining time for the duration of the cruise, you need to book as early as possible. I booked almost 8 months in advance of the cruise embarkation date, and set dining times were no longer available.
