Review summary
The Amsterdam is an elegant ship with service to match. The staff couldn’t be lovelier! Our vists to the ports of call went smoothly and we loved our at sea days as well! There were so many fun activities, especially the presentations by America’s Test Kitchens! The main stage evening entertainment was top notch. We also enjoyed the lounge entertainment by Adagio, the jazz quartet and Rafael at the piano bar. The dining room’s three course meals were superb in quality and choices. Exercise facility was good and the teakwood walking track outside on deck three was wonderful. We even tried acupuncture for the first time! So much to like! The library is an awesome place with a great selection of books as well. We chose open seating for dining and were always seated promptly at a table for two. Though we ate by ourselves we had plenty of opportunities to meet people. This was our first cruise of any length (more than 3 day’s) and we love Holland America!Embarkation
