Exceeded our expectations

Room Type: Balcony

Highly recommended. Alaska was marvelous. We were within a quarter mile of Hubbard glacier, could hear the cracks like gunshots and watch the calving. What an amazing sight. This would not have been as good on a larger ship that couldn't have gotten as close. The crew was flawless, the food good and the activities interesting. The worst part of the trip was having it end.

Cabin / Stateroom
Must have a balcony from here on out. The ocean is mesmerizing, the process of docking and leaving could be observed, we saw whales from our cabin and felt the fresh air.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Mendenhall Glacier, Ketchikan lumberjack show and crabfest and the Butchart Gardens were our favorites.

Food and Dining
La Fontaine takes longer, but it is worth the wait. The Lido has some great food, is quick and more crowded. Room service: the breakfasts were excellent, but the salmon dinner was so-so.

Tip

Take all the pictures with the ship's photographer. If you buy the package, you get more for your money. This is not the large water park/movie theatre over the pool boat. It is more relaxed, but all the kids on board seemed to be having a good time.
