Very nice cruise with a diverse mix of ports visited and excursions offered.  There was a good balance of port (excursion) days and cruising days, which was nice with the heat and humidity of the ports visited.  Onboard entertainment was very good with multiple venues so there was something available for a wide range of tastes.  Onboard staff was efficient and friendly,  There was a diverse mix of cruisers from multiple countries:  United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia; among others.  A variety of shipboard activities were available; including cooking demos, computer seminars, group games, trivia contests, swimming/sunbathing, spa indulgences, cards and board games, gambling, bingo and shopping.  There was something for everyone.  The canal transit was so interesting and informative... a fantastic experience.  Definitely a thumbs up!

The cabin was a little tight, but we managed just fine. The color scheme was lovely and understated. The love seat was very comfortable and the vanity chair was a small easy chair, so there was ample seating for the two of us between activities. There was plenty of closet space for our 16-day cruise, as well as an ample supply of nice wooden hangers. The bath towels were large and fluffy, and our room steward was efficient.

Ship Tip

If you want a set dining time for the duration of the cruise, you need to book as early as possible. I booked almost 8 months in advance of the cruise embarkation date, and set dining times were no longer available.
