Beautiful cruise

The Amsterdam is a beautiful ship. The service was wonderful and the people serving were helpful in so many ways. I thought the buffet meals were chaotic in nature with no clearly defined way to enter different sections. We did eat one night at the Pinnacle Grill to celebrate my broght and sister in laws 50th wedding anniversary. The food was wonderful and the service was the best. Glacier Bay was wonderful! We enjoyed going into the different ports and took a whale watching excursion in Juneau. It was great!. I was disappointed in the last day. It may have been communication issues\, but I thought that scenic cruising of the inside passage on the last day would be one of the highlights. Instead\, we just moved quickly through the waters with no info given to us of what to expect or what we might see. Overall the cruise was relaxing and we enjoyed our vacation.

Pros: Enjoyed seeing Glacier Bay and shopping in the port cities

Cons: Did not like the setup on the Lido deck for eating. Chaotic at times. Also did not enjoy the last day. Thought that scenic cruising of the inside passage would be more informational.
