Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room had great choices, food was always hot. We only ate at one specialty venue, Sabor, which was a big disappointment. Nothing special at all. Every time we passed it, it was never crowded.

Onboard Activities

Mamma Mia, both ice shows, Ocean Aria, headliner- Paul Boland, and Blue Planet were all excellent. Last sea day, a Madagascar themed water show was great.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward, Josefino, and main dining room servers did an excellent job. All other employees=no complaints on service

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
For such a large ship, everything flowed well. No big jam ups.

Cabin / Stateroom

We got a great price on a Grand Suite (30% off) so we went for it. It had so much space and storage. The bathroom with two sinks was a real treat. It will be hard to go back to a regular room.

Ship tip

Don’t miss any of the shows. Look out for the evening dancing water show at back of the ship.

Did a private car tour for three hours which stopped at the monkey/sloth venue. $10.00 each. Well worth it. Beautiful island.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We just walked around the shopping area which had typical Mexican tourist fare. They did offer a trolley on the long pier which was great.

We had a 10AM flight, so we did self walkoff with our luggage at 6:30AM. Very organized. Mobile passport was not working, but Customs only took several seconds. Many taxis available so at the airport in plenty of time
