We loved the Royal Caribbean Allure. The staff were wonderful and the ship was packed with so much to do!!!!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived by 11:30a and got right on. The lines were quick and everyone was cheerful and helpful!!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate in Dining room and Windjammer Buffets mostly and found the food to be pretty good. Our head waiter Adi was the best and really tried to get to know us. We would arrive to dinner with our preferred drinks waiting for us. I would give it 4.5 stars. They do state they have Maine lobster but coming from Maine the lobster we had on formal night was not “Maine” lobster. We did eat at Park Cafe in Central Park and thought it was excellent. Great place for a great salad and sandwiches.
Sorrento's
5 out of 5
We really loved the “free” pizza at Sorrentos!!!
Schooner Bar
5 out of 5
We hung out at the Schooner bar a lot because we loved the “Piano Guy”. I believe his name was John Hines.
Onboard Activities

Solarium
5 out of 5
The Solarium is one of the best Adult only pool area on all cruises we have gone on. Lots of space, great hot tubs and lots of folks ready to take your drink order but not in the annoying way. Beautiful area!!!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were outstanding!!! The Aquatic snow was so unique and thrilling. Mamma Mia and Blue Planet were great!!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Out room servant was very good and our diner waiters were excellent. All staff on board really showed up with smiles and a welcoming attitude.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
At the start of our cruise we did have a couch in our room with an ugly stain which the crew took and replaced by day four. Overall the ship appeared clean and bathrooms all over ship seemed kept up nicely.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Nice room. Not very big but ok for two people. Smaller balcony with two sit only chairs. No recliners to lay on. Bathroom was also just big enough but one annoyance was the place to hold soap etc in shower did not have a flat place to put stuff on
Ship tip
There is not a place to clean clothes on ship so bring enough to get through the week. The laundry valet is a tad expensive and will take a couple of days.
Our “5 Star Tour” through excursion on ship was fun but too much time was left at end for shopping when most of shops we saw were for Jewlery. We ended up paying another $20 to get taxi back to ship.
