Review summary

Ship is huge.  Was more like being on land than at sea.  Reminded us of being in Vegas. Reserving shows and meal times well in advance of departing on the cruise is critical.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Not the best quality. Had to send the Manhattan Strip steak back because I couldn't cut it due to the tendons and gristle.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of things to do on this ship. Unfortunate we went during spring break. Hot tubs were filled with college kids. Great Margaritas at the Mexican Restaurant but a bit pricey.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was good but having to sign up for everything before the cruise (which we didn't find out about until two weeks before the set sail date) made things a little difficult. Saving of seats by crew for Suite passengers who did not show for the performance created tense issues at times.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent Staff. Great Service

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was great. Only issue to consider is that you are looking across at the balconies across from you. Had to have the curtains closed much of the time. Also quite noise with the restaurants below in Central Park.

Ship tip

Go to the Solarium on deck 15 at the front of the ship. Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed. It is extremely peaceful and you can eat breakfast and lunch there.
