Review summary

This was the best cruise experience ever!  What made the difference?  The staff and crew were the best I've ever seen. I would rate this cruise as a 10+.  Loved their attitude of making the crew and staff happy, which made the passengers thoroughly enjoy the cruise.  New policy of a deck supervisor, Noel Mirabel, meeting us and asking about our experience was appreciated and should be on every ship.  Face-to-face feedback is best so that any suggestions/problems can be addressed before disembarkation.  Praise for new package deals for photos.  We bought an all inclusive one - photographers were excellent and we cherish our memories in color!  Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to have a great vacation experience!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent in the Windjammer and My Time Dining Room. Nice variety and delicious subtle flavors. Loved the desserts. The two women who staffed the My Time dining were a pleasure to meet and very efficient every night. The dining room was amazing in organization and seating. Kudos to the Maitre D'.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the trivia with Mia, Lorenzo and others. Mia was very enthusiastic when teaching dances and loved her spirit in getting people to dance! Lorenzo was also great a napkin folding! The 70's night was a blast!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were excellent! The Ocean Aria show was amazing, especially considering that all of the dives and acrobatics were performed on a MOVING ship! The two comedians were hysterical. Blue Planet was an odyssey into the world of acrobatics and fantasy. The ice show was fabulous! Only suggestion: music in ice show was too loud in parts. The Dominican Quartet kept the crowd dancing! Anthony Michaels and Ian Millar were great lounge entertainers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiter, Merrick, and assistant waiter, Allan were 5-star! Efficient, friendly, professional and went out of their way to assure that we had anything we needed. Looked forward to dining in their table section every night. Shawna in Johnny Rocket's made our cruise special and fun! Our room steward, Jackson was also a 10). Room service was on time and got it right!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is magnificent! The ship was well-staffed and ran completely smoothly. The design was fabulous, loved Central Park, the Boardwalk, and the Promenade. So many activities! Very clean and friendly staff and crew.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the cabin!

What was the deal for the photos? I was planning on doing this as well since it will be our first family cruise with our 3 yr old son!
